Toby Burnett is a multi-award-winning Creative Director who has achieved success across globally renowned brands, advertising agencies, and tech startups. Fuelled by a dedication to nurturing creative teams, crafting engaging stories, and delivering impactful results, Toby is at his happiest when tackling a new project alongside talented individuals.
For five years at AKQA, Toby spearheaded the Global Nike football account, collaborating with the Portland client team to develop football strategies and creative executions for worldwide brand campaigns, product launches, and the Brazil and Russia World Cups.
In 2018, Toby moved brand side to DAZN, where he took on the role of Executive Creative Director, building an entire creative department from the ground up. He defined processes, curated top-tier talent globally, and established brand guidelines that fostered unity across the expansive network.
During his tenure at DAZN, Toby executively produced several sports documentaries, including the award-winning series 'The Making Of,' 'Parallel Lines,' and the Brazil national team retrospective 'The Line of Kings.'
Toby then moved to Avant Arte, to set up the content and creative departments, bringing all his experience from the sport world to the exciting challenge of making art radically more accessible to a new generation.
